I ran another Polyphonic Futures workshop; this time, I had the pleasure at the National Design Centre Singapore during the Singapore Design Week 2022. On that note, I want to thank the Design Singapore Council for their active support.
I invited members of the public and interested experts in their own rights to collectively speculate with me on body interfaces and transient materials. Members of the public and Singapore Design Week visitors alike had the chance to come along to discuss and view the workshop's outcomes — the final results were completely open to the public. Although the PF workshops are designed for an adult audience, we were joined by two very young contributors eager to learn about silkworms and technology, which brought a refreshing and joyous angle to our session. More food for thought on how to cater to even wider audiences and involve the youngest in our society in the shaping of futures.
