I have been invited to by Dr Laura Ferrarello to give a workshop to the MRes Design Pathway at the Royal College of Art. The workshop introduced the students to some aspects of my research over the last few years into transient interfaces, biomaterials, silk and biodesign.

The students worked as team towards a group project on soft robotics, intelligent mobility with company partner Uber and looked particularly at the well-being of drivers in the gig economy.
The RCA wrote a blog post about the final outcome of the project — a soft robotic steering wheel.
